Memphis part 1

We are having a great time with Heather, Andrew and Ella. NO baby yet :( but we hope before we leave. We had a long trip that started with a 4 hour layover in Dallas, then a 2 hour car ride from Little Rock to Southhaven Mississippi. We got to Heathers about 2 a.m. Here are the first four days...

Day 4-Black Friday in Collierville, Tennesse
We went to this outdoor mall with all these over sized Christmas decorations. They were so cool looking.
We went to the Crepe Maker...It was so Yummy...worth a trip to Tennessee for...
Thanksgiving!!!
Pumpkin Pie and Coconut banana cream. I made the crusts...one was really nasty, and one was o.k. I am still learning.
Ready to eat!!!
Our lovely dinnerware...:)
Heathers two tables makes one that is big enough for all of us.
stirring the gravy
Brent loves little Ella...she is not so sure about any of us

Day 2- We went down to the riverpark, Corkey BBQ, had a birthday party, and had a small baby shower. whew what a day!
Something I made for the new baby...Can you guess his name??? ;)
I made another car seat cover I am getting better with experience...I feel like I was just making Heather a car seat cover for Ella...wait I was. : )
Heather with all her gifts.
We had a Birthday party for Ella before the baby shower. They have taught her to be so clean that she didn't want to even touch it.
Ella with her presents... Thanks for waiting for us to open them.
River park trail...look at the sign below...I didn't go any further.
We thought the Jordan River Parkway was bad...Yikes I don't want a snake on my head...my sister Heather also said that in the deep woods there are alligators..No thanks I don't need to go for a walk here thanks.
These poles indicate the flood levels for floods that are 1-10 years, 1-20 years, 1-50 years, 1-100 years and 1-200 years. crazy to see how high the water levels can get over a huge area.
Rocking chairs looking over the Mississippi River...We didn't stay long here because a enormous bug on my back that wouldn't come off..eeekkk
It was a beautiful day! It was about 75 degrees and slightly humid.
Mississippi River
These two boys love being together...we took them shopping and they followed us around playing Catan on Brent's I-pod. They were good sports.

Ella Bella...She is so fun to be with!
Day 1- The traveling day
Dallas-Fort Worth Airport...Katy was so excited to spend 4 hours in the same place as her missionary although he had no clue she was so close
Katy also enjoyed her first flight...that she can remember!

I'm glad you had a great trip! It looks like so much fun. My brother went to TN on his mission, and got back in March, I wonder if he knows your sister's missionary. Yikes that whole snake thing freaks me out! I can't stand reptiles! YUCK! Isn't escaping the snow nice though? You guys are welcome to come down our way next time you want to beat the snow.
