Ten years ago I bought this little car from a man in out ward who went to auto auctions. It was a little beat up but for $2500 I thought well maybe it will run till I can get out of college. This car had its challenges but overall it was a champ! It took me to the U and back for several years. I then drove it till we got our Subaru 2 1/2 years ago. We tried to trade it in and they kinda laughed at us and said it would be better if you donated it. So with it still running we went ahead and let my some of my siblings drive it. When Spencer left on his mission in July we knew it was probably time to get rid of it. So we contacted kidney cars and they wouldn't return our calls or e-mails. They didn't even want it!!! Then I heard an ad on the radio for an organization called Kars for Kids. They came and got it for free, and are giving us a vacation voucher along with of course that tax deduction. :) It lasted A LOT longer than I could have imagined when I bought it! I will not miss it stalling or trying to fight to get the drivers side window up but I will be grateful to it for all the places it got me to and from.
