El Paso

On August 10th my sister Katy, Jack, and I got in our Subaru and drove to El Paso. My Brother Jared and his wife Celyn had their 3rd baby the end of July. Celyn had a couple complications after having Timothy and was having a hard time getting on her feet. Katy and I talked for a couple days about how we both had a pretty free week coming up and maybe if we could get there we could be of some help. So we packed up and hit the road. We go along really well! Jack was AWESOME in the car. He didn't not cry or whine the whole first day of riding in the car. He is a great traveler! He had a bin of toys and a bin of books and Katy would hand him what he needed.

We set up the water table and pool on their patio because the sun was so hot. The only problem is when the slate they have on their patio is wet it is really slippery. So we put down a tarp. It did keep the water somewhat contained.

Reading a bed time story

I was pleasantly surprised with how Jack loved the baby. He wanted to hold him and he was always wondering where he was.
