We have been blessed to have this little guy for 16 months now and life couldn't be better. He keeps us on our toes and we love every minute with him. He is busy busy. I think he is content and next thing I know he is in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper role. I keep all the doors to the rooms and bathrooms closed so he can't get into anything. So the other day he came up to me and pointed Uh-Oh down the hall. Apparently I had left a door open and he had the foresight to know it needed to be shut. It made me laugh.
He in someways eats less than he did a month ago. I give him anything with much texture in it and he promptly spits it out unless it is somewhat sweet. Picky! Picky! It is driving me crazy! Any pointers would help at this point. He can't eat baby food or blended food forever!!!
New words this month would be Thank you, thanks, Jesus, shoes, ball, and my favorite WOW. He was playing pick a boo at church, with another little boy in our ward, with the table cloth in relief society and lifted the cloth up and said, "WOW". I knew at that point we were probably done with relief society for the day. :) Grandpa Pond was put in the nursery not to long ago so we are excited that he will be Jacks teacher very soon! I am relieved because then he should go without any problems and I will have a eye witness to how he does.
As far as teeth go....We have started on our molars and two have broken through. Lots of drool and a runny nose! I will be so glad to be DONE with teething. :)
Trying hard to get his 16 month picture on his 16 month birthday and this was the best we could do. So we tried the next night after jammies were on.
Another new thing this month is folding our arms when its time to pray...SO CUTE..Its hard to keep your eyes closed because we just want to watch him.
Jack with his favorite pal...Monkey
I found this one on my camera...Jack this month has fallen in love with brooms. He used to cry when I would sweep but now he wants to do all the sweeping.
We sat down for breakfast one morning and Brent and I started eating without even thinking because we were in a small hurry and we look over and Jack has his arms folded. WOW were we taught by a toddler to pray before eating. :)
After some pictures Jack went and got his dump truck out and lifted the back and sat on it. We tried to convince him it wasn't a riding truck but he was having to much fun.
SORRY FOR THE LONG POST....THANKS FOR MAKING IT TO THE END! :)
