5 Years!

It has been five years since we said goodbye to our sweet Aiden. It didn't seem like it was going to be as hard this year. I had been really busy and hadn't even put that much thought to it, but when I got up that morning I knew that I couldn't just sit at home all day. So I called Heather and she met me at the new Goodwill in Murray. It was crazy and we walked around and turned around and walked out. We saw an old neighbor that was kinda random. We then went and met Katy at Sprouts where I turned to them and said, "I know what I would like to do the rest of the day, tell me if you think it is a good idea.". They were on board so I text my Mom told her I was coming to get her and we met out at the district. We had lunch and did a little bit of shopping. It was just what I needed that day. So thanks, Mom, Heather, and Katy for indulging me and spending sometime with me. Katy was really nice to spend that time because she was having a jewelry party at her house that night that she needed to get ready for. When Brent got home I mentioned to everyone I hadn't even bought a pie for Aiden's Birthday when Brent looked at me and said, "then you didn't see the one that I bought". He was so sweet and had bought a pie and a card. We had many sweet messages through the day and feel very loved. We are a forever family and are grateful for the opportunity to one day raise Aiden.
