18 Months!!!

Happy 1/2 birthday!!! We think that 18 months is a pretty big milestone. So we thought we would make it kinda like a birthday. He needed some new toys for summer anyway :). This past month Jack has grown up so much.He is not eating very much baby food anymore. I throw in one when I feel like he needs some vegetables. He tried pizza, salsa, black pepper triscuits and honey mustard wheat thins and liked them all. We think this kid likes spicy foods He is trying to put words together like, "get out",  "up Mommy", "No, No night night", to name some. He now says, cracker, cookie, juice, lots of family members names, remote, and teeth (There is more he is saying but all I can think of at the moment ). He has also really taken a liking to saying no. :). He has learned how to climb up on things. We found him sitting on a chair up to the kitchen table last week helping himself to a box of crackers. He has also learned how to climb on our ottoman. Which is the place we would put things that we didn't want him to touch like cell phones and remotes. He is now thrilled he can get up there and get them...Time for a new place for all electronic devices. He has also taken to watching a t.v. show called Daniel Tigers Neighborhood. HE LOVES IT!!! I try to limit to 1 show a day but it has been nice to have a second to get something done while he is distracted so sometimes he gets to watch it while I make dinner. .

18 Months!!!

I made Brown Sugar cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. They were yummy!

We took Jack to dinner at Wendy's because we knew he would eat a kids meal.
He ate the whole thing!!!
We had cupcakes on the lawn

A messy face and his new cozy truck. It doesn't have a top yet because it had 2 right pieces. Brent called Little Tikes and they were really nice and are sending out a replacement piece. He also got a water table and small wagon with sand toys for my parent's sand box.
