Outer Banks Day 2

Beginning of the sand highway

The beach was sooo pretty that morning

On Day 2 of our trip we rented a jeep to drive up the beach to see wild horses. On the outer banks there is a beach highway that goes all the way up to the Virginia border. We had a great time driving over the sand dunes. I even drove for a little while!!! We saw some horses and some HUGE beach houses. On the Outer Banks there are huge million dollar beach homes that they build up on stilts to keep the water out. After we were done with the jeep we decided to head back to rest because I wasn't feeling well because of some crab I ate. (We think I am allergic to shell fish because the last couple times I ate it I got really sick). So after a quick rest we were off again to the Wright Brothers Museum. Where the first airplane was made and flown. After hiking to the monument we found a cute little burger shop and enjoyed the scenery once again! That evening we walked part of the board walk on the sound and watched the sun set. It was Gorgeous!!! What a Awesome way to spend a day!!!
